First step in the production of repair tools is the development of
patterns for the pitch blocks, which will be made to conform to the exact specifications
of the manufacturers' propellers. A variety of patterns is kept in stock at all time.

Rough sand castings of the pitch blocks are then produced by outside
foundries, and returned to us for finishing.
|
|
|
With meticulous care, castings are finished to a dimensional
accuracy of + or - .015". Work is continually checked with a pitch indicator of high
precision.
