Hub Repair Equipment
Spun hubs, a major cause of propeller failure, are usually detected
by burned or frayed rubber on the hub or in the hub cavity. The tools which
Rundquist manufactures for hub repair are shown here. They include hub sleeves
and corresponding drivers for insertion of the hubs, available individually
or in sets of graduated sizes. For this operation, the repair shop needs
a hydraulic press of 10-ton capacity or larger.
