Pitch and Rake Indicators
The pitch of the propeller is defined as the theoretical travel of
the propeller through a mass at each revolution. Rake is the angle of a blade in relation
to the shaft. The pitch of a blade can be constant throughout the width, or progressive
between leading edge and trailing edge.

This pitch indicator, manufactured by
Rundquist, shows the exact pitch of a blade on a direct reading scale. It requires no
computation, and only a minimum amount of manipulation. Our racing gauge is more
sensitive, and is designed for the smaller areas in progressive pitch styles of propellers
to 15" diameter.
